Comment(s): This print is a “pinhole” photograph which accounts for the numbers/letters from the film strip being a part of the image. Aguinaco is best known for his strong and expressionist color work. His monochrome photographs are rarely seen. He has exhibited widely in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Aguinaco’s work has appeared in a number of books and publications, including “Frida’s Wardrobe,” “El Color del Tiempo” and “Color Magazine” (the cover of the March, 2010 issue).
