Lot Note(s): Signed in pencil, lower right. Drawn on white wove heavily textured paper. Fine condition, as painted. Comment(s): Hepworth is primarily know for her sculpture but was an accomplished "two-dimensional" artist as well. Her work exemplifies Modernism, and with such contemporaries as Ivon Hitchens, Henry Moore, Ben Nicholson, and Naum Gabo she helped to develop modern art in Great Britain.
