Lot Note(s): The spray paint stencil area of the work is in fine condition; the support plywood is damaged from the rough removal from its bracket, as can be seen in the online images. Comment(s): A wonderful example of Banksy "Street Art." Dismaland was a temporary art project organized by street artist Banksy in the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, England. Prepared in secret, the pop-up exhibition was "a sinister twist on Disneyland" that opened during the weekend of 21 August 2015 and closed on 27 September 2015, 36 days later.
