Artist: Henri Matisse [imputee] (French, 1869 - 1954).
Title: "Femme nue".
Medium: Pen and ink drawing on paper.
Date: Composed 1938.
Dimensions: Overall size: 13 x 14 3/4 in. (330 x 375 mm).
Lot Note(s): Hand-signed and dated in ink, lower left. Light cream thin wove paper. Good condition; foxing overall (would be greatly mitigated if not eliminated by conservation);a few very small areas of skinning, verso. Comment(s): Matisse was known for both his use of color and his fluid and original draughtsmanship.
