Overall very good to fine condition with no major issues noted (no holes, tears, repairs, flaking, stains, etc.); scattered areas of craquelure; as found, unconserved, not relined; strong colors; unframed; original stretcher with nails preserved. Comment(s): Chini was an Italian painter, ceramicist, and set designer. A prominent member of the Italian Liberty style movement (Italian Art Nouveau) he taught decorative arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence.
