Comment(s): Our example is quite possibly a composite refinement of figures from Moore’s “Sleeping Positions” of 1941, currently in the collection of The Henry Moore Foundation. Moore was a sculptor who also excelled in two-dimensional art. He is best known for his semi-abstract monumental bronze sculptures which are located around the world as public works of art.
